The term “Bondi to Bronte” is usually referred to as a unique coastal walk from Bondi Beach to Bronte Beach. This walk hosts the annual Sculpture by the Sea exhibition where you see the beaches, parks and path temporarily transformed into a 2km long sculpture park featuring over 100 sculptures by artists from Australia and across the world. It’s returning this Thursday for the 16th time!!! It’ll be drawing crowds day in day out until Sunday 4 November 2012.
“Bondi to Bronte” also refers to one of Sydney’s most iconic ocean swims, hosted by the Bronte Surf Club. This year they are holding their 12th event on Sunday 2nd December 2012. If you are not up for swimming, it’s still great to get amongst the atmosphere and catch a glimpse of the “eye candy”!

Just as spectacular (and surely just as famous) is our version of the “Bondi to Bronte”… the shopping experience. Also starting very close to Ben Buckler Point and ending not far from Waverley Cemetery, we present the strip shopping guide to Bondi Beach and Bronte.
Your “Bondi to Bronte” shopping experience could only start with a visit to the home of two NORTH BONDI icons:
Camilla, 132A Warners Avenue – Putting a whole lot of love (and colour) in your wardrobe. If you’re lucky you may even meet the Kaftan Queen herself!
Bondi Markets, Bondi Beach Public School, Campbell Parade (every Saturday from 9am-1pm) – Support up and coming Australian designers! We are totally behind this one!
The block between Campbell Parade, Curlewis, Gould and Hall Streets is pretty much where it all happens in downtown BONDI BEACH. Dozens of local shops stocking some of the finest local and international designers are to be explored. Some of our favourites include:
