Not long ago, we claimed that Pasir Panjang has it all in terms of furniture stores, and stated that it is Singapore’s next furniture shopping precinct. A recent addition to the portfolio is proving that this area is now well on the way being know as one of the best places to buy furniture in Singapore.
In recent years, Rob Pendergrast and Jo Harrison have made themselves known as the operators of Expat Auctions; a weekly auction house selling quality recycled home furnishings at reasonable prices.
Singapore Trading Post is their latest project and aims to provide stylish and quality international homewares and decorator items at a reasonable price.
Named after the establishment by Sir Stamford Raffles of Singapore as a Trading Post for the East India Trading Company in 1819, Singapore Trading Post carefully sources pieces from south and north India (mainly Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh) as well as Indonesia, Vietnam and Myanmar.
