Furniture store Journey East recently underwent a large renovation of their showroom at Tan Boon Liat building. By adjusting the spatial distribution of the huge 8,600 square foot space, Journey East has create a feeling of openness, whilst still maintaining the individually segmented areas for their many distinctive brands.
Vibrant colours have been added, creating a lively contrast with the natural tone of wood of their eclectic collections, whilst also adding to the overall energy of the space.
True to Journey East form, materials from the previous showroom have been recycled and upcycled for the new space.
One of our favourite additions to the new store is the use of lightboxes, providing fun, quirky phrases that captures various aspects of Journey East and friends’ personalities and ethos.
Journey East continues to provide the latest curated and restored vintage and retro pieces, reclaimed wood furniture, and premium outdoor furniture from brands such as d-Bodhi, Mamagreen and XLBoom.
