IMG_1060Cedros Avenue Design District is a little piece of local shopping heaven in the heart of San Diego County in California. Located just two blocks back from Solana Beach, this hidden gem is the home of more than 85 quality local shops, local brands.

Self-claimed “the avenue with everything”, Cedros Avenue Design District deserves all the praise it gets. This single strip offers a unique collection of homewares, fashion, accessories and jewellery by local designers and artisans stretched over two and a half blocks.

The district used to be the home to renowned architects, builders, designers and interior decorators, however over the past decade the avenue has evolved to include health and beauty, fashion and footwear, fitness and well-being, bistros and cafes, galleries, jewellers and gift shops, designers and architects.

IMG_1039This much-loved local shopping spot holds a luxurious seaside relaxed vibe, rather than the assumed grungy beach feel. However, once you are done with shopping up a storm, complete your day by taking a short stroll to Solana Beach to enjoy a colourful Californian sunset.

The convenient and picturesque location of Cedros Avenue Design District adds to its attraction and the friendliness of store owners and staff makes going back even more enticing.
